Weekly Encouragement from Pastor Tim
Announcements, prayer requests, and more!
Dear KCBC family,
Last week we learned that God has a remnant of humble people who trust him, but that doesn’t mean they’re perfect—far from it. Not long after God showed his faithfulness to the people in Judah, they sought to leave their homeland for “greener pastures” in Egypt. But God told them if they stayed put, he would protect them.
They were afraid, and understandably so, but it’s never a good idea to disobey God. Nevertheless, they ignored God’s word and took off for Egypt and disastrous consequences.
Have you ever taken matters into your own hands and ignored God’s word when it didn’t make sense? I’m sure we all have, so it’s a good thing God is patient with his remnant. Be encouraged that God always preserves, provides for his people, and keeps his promises even when we don’t keep ours.
For the gospel,
Pastor Tim
Announcements/Prayer
Communion - We have communion this Sunday, so today is a good day to be preparing your heart to receive the Lord’s gift through self-examination, repentance, and reconciliation.
Bob & Barb - Bob and Barb are doing well after their surgeries this week (Bob-Hernia/Barb-cataract). Please continue to pray for complete healing.
A Kittredge family has to move out of state after testifying in a court case for their safety. The adult daughter and her fiancé are looking for odd jobs to pay for the $800 they need to move. The DA is providing the moving truck. If you have any leads or work you could give this family, please let Aletha know.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
Leading up to Easter, we went door to door inviting folks to our church and to share the hope of the resurrection. Please pray for a convicting work of the Holy Spirit in many hearts in our community.
Pray for our youth group; several kids are from unbelieving families and have very little knowledge of God’s Word.
Pray that we would be strengthened and filled with a fresh zeal for the task of making Christ known.
Pray for our summer VBS, as most of the children who attend come from non-churched families.
